Jacqui is a trained Energy Therapist and has been teaching Yoga and movement for over two decades. She believes that there are many facets to our health and well being and draws from a wealth of lived experience for her offerings. She has been formally trained in reiki and energetic field psychology and has studied with teachers from many diverse spiritual paths. She facilitates healing experiences that will uplift and empower you to experience who yourself in a truer and kinder way. Whether in a Yoga class, a Retreat or a 1 on 1 personal session, Jacqui will help you connect more deeply to your heart, body and spirit.
For this offering you will be sitting comfortably or lying down with very little talking or dialogue unless indicated by the energy being worked with. I have studied energy healing arts such as Reiki and Geotran gems for over a decade and have been mentored by my spiritual healer for some years now. I continually attend to and learn from my own healing which allows me to hold space for you. I believe the body, and unconscious mind is self healing. When we allow ourselves to tap into that wellspring of vitality we remember how deeply supported and capable we are. I also believe that having guidance to that sacred healing space is invaluable. Expect to feel more relaxed, softened and nurtured.
We can all live a meaningful and fulfilled life, and my skills in coaching will help you by clearing the belief systems that stand in the way. I consider myself a bit of a spiritual detective. I deeply enjoy getting to the root of a belief system or issue. I hear the energy behind the words and see beyond the layers of tension that we cover our truth in. My decade long training in deep listening and intention work has taught me that the truth is loving and kind, when we open to it healing occurs, and when healing occurs our life changes from the inside out.
I have been a teacher in the Vancouver community since 2011. I specialize in Hatha yoga and believe deeply in the healing power of movement. I come from a professional dance background so expect intelligent sequencing that allows you to let your analytical mind rest, so you can breathe and feel. My classes are warm, physically dynamic and designed with the intention of giving students the space to be themselves and cultivate body awareness and acceptance. I enjoy working with a diverse range of bodies and encourage you to come as you are. I teach public classes at Stretch Vancouver and am available for 1 on 1 or group privates.
